The context

Founded in 2019 by Thibault Amat and his partners Nicolas Giansily and Frédéric Charlet, the Foud franchise offers a hybrid cuisine combining on-site catering, takeaway and delivery. With a central kitchen located in Aubagne, Foud prepares fresh and varied dishes every morning, which they then dispatch to their five outlets. Foud's speciality lies in its French and Mediterranean bistro recipes, which are renewed every week.

The challenge

Right from the start, Foud wanted to integrate digital technology to simplify and optimize its operations. However, their initial system, based on PrestaShop and cash register software, had its limitations.

"It's not our job to manage the maintenance of APIs between our solutions."

The use of their in-house delivery fleet guarantees total control over service quality and speed. It tracks every stage of the order, from preparation to delivery, improving customer satisfaction and reducing errors.

Scaling network development and expansion

"The software allows us to easily duplicate our processes and train our franchisees using the same technology," emphasizes Thibault.

This technological support has been decisive in the opening of new outlets, such as the next restaurant at Marseille airport, scheduled for June 2024.

What next?

"In 2024, we're continuing our openings with a new restaurant at Marseille airport. As our franchisees in Aix-en-Provence have recently been integrated, we're also making sure that our network pioneers are up and running," concludes Thibault.
